Beta Testing Agreement

This Beta Testing Agreement ("Beta Agreement") applies when Astramara, LLC ("Astramara") gives you access to pre-release, trial, preview, or "beta" features of PassageMaster™ (the "Beta Features"). It supplements the Terms of Service; if there is a conflict for Beta Features, this Beta Agreement controls.

1. Pre-release nature

Beta Features are provided for evaluation and testing. They are still in development, may be incomplete or unstable, may change or be withdrawn at any time, and may not work as intended. Beta Features may be less reliable than generally available features and should be treated with extra caution — especially anything touching navigation, safety, position, or environmental data.

2. No warranty; use at your own risk

BETA FEATURES ARE PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITH NO WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND. The Disclaimers apply with full force. You use Beta Features at your own risk and remain solely responsible for the safe operation of your vessel. There is no service-level commitment for Beta Features.

3. Feedback

If you give us feedback, suggestions, or ideas about the Service ("Feedback"), you grant Astramara a perpetual, irrevocable, worldwide, royalty-free license to use and incorporate that Feedback without restriction or obligation to you. Please do not include confidential information of yours or of others in Feedback.

4. Confidentiality (optional)

Non-public information about Beta Features (including their existence, functionality, and performance) may be designated confidential. If it is, you agree not to disclose it to third parties or publish benchmarks or screenshots without our prior written consent, until the feature is publicly released. Beta information is confidential only when we designate it as confidential or when it is not yet publicly released.

5. Data during beta

We may collect additional diagnostic or usage information during a beta to improve the Service, consistent with the Privacy Policy. We will tell you if a beta involves materially different data handling.

6. Term and termination

This Beta Agreement applies for the duration of your access to the Beta Features. We may end a beta, revoke access, or move features to general availability at any time. Sections 2, 3, and 4 survive termination.
